If you received the Hamilton Magazine spring issue on your driveway or in your mailbox, check to see if there is a card indicating 2-for-1 admission offer. Adult tickets are $8; senior tickets are $4.
Mike Holmes' son and daughter are scheduled to appear at the show on Saturday:

Players Paradise is the indoor soccer complex built a couple of years ago. You'll need a car to get there unless you intend to hike from a HSR 55A Stoney Creek Central bus stop on Arvin Ave at Fruitland Rd north to the show. There's heavy traffic volume on Fruitland due to the QEW ramps plus construction on the bridge.

We went last year when it was at the Careport Centre. We won free tickets and took the kids with us. As far as swag goes, it was pretty slim. The kids each got a ring pop and a balloon from vendors. I picked up maybe 2 free landscaping magazines from a company that were useless. Mostly it's just a bunch of vendors saying "Hey, give us your email address and we'll give you this crappy magnet." I personally would never pay to get in.

The last time I went to the Home Show (Convention Centre) was the Saturday that the Designer Guys (Steven & Chris) were attending and I could not get into the room, it was that full of fans!
Even 10 years ago, swag was the odd stick pen with business name, letter opener, and magnet. No bag at the door. Some vendors ask you to provide contact information so they can follow up on your needs; at least they are trying to get some sales traffic!
Evenings are great if you want to chat up any designer on hand for plan analyis or ideas-less crowds.
The new location will probably appeal to those in the area using the complex for adult/kids' soccer games. Show producers are willing to try new venues--sometimes that can make things better for the show.2021-Bring on the sunshine, sweets & online shopping.
