Just getting back from what I think was a pretty good savings trip. Hubby and I are just getting started but we can already see the benefits. Of course though, we aren't too great at it yet.

We used our "Free Ice Cream" coupon at the Sobey's in Mount Pearl today. Didn't have a problem at all. We got Breyer's because it is usually like around $8.99 but on sale for $4.99 so we basically got a $9 ice cream for free.

While at the Dominion in Mount Pearl they were giving out samples of Lean Cuisine meals which they gave us each a coupon for $1.50 off of them. The ones they had a sample of are on for $2.49 each (something like $1.30 off) so we got them for $.99 each. Be on the look out for Shreddies, I don't know if anyone likes them but the back of the box has at least 10 coupons for Glad products.

I will just list some of the things we got on sale from each store today!

Lean Cuisine Spa - $.99 each (on sale for $2.49 but bought 2 and used 2x$1.50 coupon)

Great shopping trip! would have love to have been at dominion today when they were giving out those coupons!! I was at the mount pearl loc tonight and bought 4 @2.50 each. no lady passing out coupons are you aware of the stouffers rewards? you collect the codes inside the boxes, enter them online & when you have 22 collected they will send you a $10.00 gift card. I eat lean cuisines all the time & when they go on sale for $2.00 each I stock up.. I rec'd my 1st shoppers gift card today.. so exciting ! you can read about the program on their website.

Of thank you, we're just getting started. Wow, I had no idea about the rewards thing, that is great. I looked on the ones we got today and they mention that where they are the "Spa" ones that you could win a spa gift card. Thats neat too. Congrats on getting your first gift card.

Trying to use up all my July 31st coupons - went to Wal Mart on Kelsey and got shave gel $1.50 all with $1.00 off coupons and three travel sizes with the buy 3 save $5 (i like the small ones as gifts). There was also travel size flushable wipes (charmin) for $2 and used buy 2 and save $1.25. No problems at all and she was very patient, didn't grumble, just worked through them.

thanks for letting us know. Are the save gels marked $1.50 or scan for this price? just wondering b/c I went to Walmart mount pearl to get this deal & when checking the price it was over 3.00 a can.. I put them back.. I'm hoping to get a good deal on shave gel before the end of the month & a 1.50 a can, you can't beat!

what happened? i never used coupons there before.. I realized walmart mount pearl doesn't know their coupon policy.. they would not let me have overage and another time i had a cashier tell me i couldn't use more than one of the same coupon, you know the confusion of one coupon per purchase. the coupon did not say per customer! so i asked for separate transactions

Do not even get me started on Wal-Mart Mount Pearl!!! I go there pretty much a couple of times a week, and I would say that 1 in 4 times I go there I have a decent experience. theyre the worst!

I had a really good experience at Stephenville Walmart last weekend...which was a surprise to me! They have JUST started giving overages so it is all new to them. I came in with a bunch of B2G1 fancy feast and B1G1 Beneful as well as a free Max cat litter (up to 14.00). She went and consulted with the manager for a while and then came back and gave me the max total of all the coupons!! The cat litter was only a little over $5 so I got almost $9 overages on just that! I was shocked because I didn't ask for the overages but I was not saying a word!! The overages went to pay for some of my other purchases because...well...I live in a itty bitty town and the nearest Walmart IS Stephenville (1.5 hr drive one way) so I stocked up on quite a bit of items. Anyways, thought I would share my lovely experence!

Thats awesome!! I wish my Wal-Mart would do that!
I emailed Wal Mart customer relations last week and they said that Wal Mart doesnt have a coupon policy right now. So that means I basically cant even argue it at the cash

Went to wal mart this evening - no problems and they had their scrubbing bubbles already on sale and the duck cleaner- got lots of bathroom stuff!!

My experience at walmart mount pearl has been overall an okay experience. I've never been able to use the SCOP there. also, There's one cashier, a young girl that I try to stay away from.. she sometimes will give me a hard time. other than that, using coupons & PM there has been okay.

Was shopping at Wal-Mart Stavenger today at lunchtime, and found a whole bunch of coupons left around by a coupon fairy who was in the store! Thanks! I used one of those! Sorry for taking the last 2 scrubbing bubbles :-P

My co-worker coupon stacked today! First time I've seen/done it here! I like Wal-Mart Stavenger more than Mt Pearl...
