    I use the car insurance on rental cars, even had to use it once when someone dented our rental in a parking lot, it was painless. I also get GCs from our points. Just bought a new tv recently, used about $400 in free GCs towards it.

    Not exactly free of course, we pay an annual fee, but the rewards are greater than the fee.

    I've used the price protection some 10 yrs ago...Unfortunately that credit card no longer exists in Canada.
