Easter Candy - Clearance?

I'm trying to find out when the Easter candy usually goes on clearance. Is it after Good Friday or after Easter Monday? Or is it usually on the Monday it goes on sale? Anybody know? Thanks! Oh, and if you find any good deals, post 'em here so others can look for them too.

It's usually the Monday. Sometimes places like shoppers will start marking down things that aren't selling very well on the weekend but the deals will still be better on Monday.

Hoping target will have their Easter stuff on clearance by Monday.... In the past target has had awesome clearance on valentines and other stuff..

i have a feeling you won't get true clearance until tuesday.. because there is always late comers and they don't want to reduce to soon

I find that our shoppers is putting away stuff by Tuesday. oh well. still going to check it out. I went out yesterday and ran home. I will wait till the crazy Easter Shoppers go back into hiding.

All stores are different. Most stores will have it 25%-50% off next week and the following week should be 50%-75% off. Last year I remember cleaning out one Shoppers of the 3pack Cadbury Eggs for 50 cents each, I will be hunting for those eggs again for the next couple weeks but doubt I will get that deal again.

It's always Monday here. But I am really waiting for the clearance to make it's way to 70-90% off at Target. That won't happen for a while yet.

On Valentines day my SDM had all of their candy on sale for 50%-70% off and I scooped up a bunch of it. So I was hoping for the same with Easter stuff. I guess I will head out tomorrow morning and maybe stop at Walmart, SDM and possibly Giant Tiger. I'll let everyone know what I find.
