Package Train

This is a no limit train – no $ limit, no rider limit. Boarding will close on Sunday June 8, 2014 at 10am ONTARIO time.

Since the theme of this train is CHRISTMAS IN JULY we are going to SPOIL our buddies by

sending 8 EXACT wishlist items. The idea is that it’ll feel like Christmas morning when their buddy opens their package!


**There is no requirement for sending a Christmas item or for wrapping gifts BUT it would make your package much more Christmas-y! **

RIDERS MUST:

1. Have a Trade Rating of 25 (these ratings cannot be from all VWT’s or RAOKS)
2. Have a minimum of 50 posts on SC
3. Have no negative ratings
4. Be an active member of SC
5. Not be riding any other package train

Send Date is: THURSDAY July 10, 2014 – Which means you MUST mail on or before that day – No exceptions.





Things to keep in mind while making up your buddy’s package:
· You MUST send 8 full sized items from your buddy’s wishlist
· Package MUST be sent on or before mail date (PM the tracking number to me and Fallenpixels – Tracking numbers are mandatory unless you hand deliver in person)
· All items must be in new/unused condition (other than gently used movies, books, games, etc.).
· Liquids must be wrapped well to prevent leaking and ruining the package
· Glass items must also be well wrapped and protected to prevent breaking and ruining the package
· $2+ items from the dollar store (from wishlist) are considered full size items
· $1, $1.25, $1.50 items from the dollar store, samples, trial & travel size items are considered extras






Please also keep in mind that since you will be sending actual packages that shipping will cost more than regular coupon trains (on average about $10-$20). If you do not have CP’s Venture One card you may want to look into it. It’s free and anyone can join! Most avid package train participants have an account (a business name is required but it can be anything).





Minimum post number for this train is 15 (but you can post as much as you like). Mandatory posts must include a post for each of the following:
1. Requesting seat
2. Confirmation of sending
3. Confirmation of receiving/Thank You (List of what was received is preferred. Pics are great if you are able!)






Prizes!
Since this train is a CHRISTMAS IN JULY train, it’s only right to have PRIZES! I’ll be sending out 5 prizes throughout the train (I’ve PM’d Fallenpixels the 5 winning criteria). I haven’t picked out the prizes yet, they can be anything from FPCS, GCS, epicure sample dip, small wishlist items, etc.






CONSEQUENCES OF NOT FOLLOWING ALL RULES
· If you do not follow ALL of the above rules, you will be excluded from riding one future package train and WILL receive neutral feedback
· Repeat/Second offences will also mean you are excluded from at least two package trains and possibly all future package trains
· If you do not send a gift, you will be excluded from all future package trains
· If you do not send a gift, you will receive two negative ratings - One from your buddy and the other from the conductor.
· If you do not communicate with the moderators regarding why the gift was not received, you may also receive a trading ban at the Trade Mod's discretion.

I just finished the other package train but am waiting to receive my package. my person received hers from me.

I am on the Beat the Heat train- I have mailed my package (not yet received by recipient) and understand if I have to be "pending" until it is received.

I am not on any trains right now. I have to write up a new wishlist and I will pm all my info later in the week. its mine, ds2's, and a friends kid's birthday next weekend (June 6th and 7th) so it is a very busy time right now. just wanted to get my seat early.

No worries at all. As long as it's to me by the time boarding closes. That way I can draw names and forward wishlists quickly so people can get shopping.

i have 4 lists in there as i requested (like i usually do lol) that everyone in my family get something from their list.


me and dh each have 25 items listed
ds1 and ds2 each have 15 items listed.
