I contacted Labatt online on Canada Day because the case of a 24 of beer had given out in our driveway and several bottles broke. It was a mess with glass everywhere, in the lawn and under the cars. This wasn't the first time a case had broken, other sizes of the product had recently torn on the handle or unfolded/unglued too.
I had an email and a voicemail the next day from Labatt, and they called me again today to follow up because I hadn't had a chance to call them yet. They took down the product information and are sending compensation for the case, which they didn't need to do but is really and truly appreciated.
It's great to have personal and quick customer service from a company who cared enough to resolve the problem with a customer. I was shocked, trust me but having this reminder of what customer service should be has raised my expectations for everyone else now.
