lol its probably only vanilla leftover, that was the same at my store. Didn't see the price reduced though.

Still $1 at my local Target. Would buy it without coupon at 50 cents. Vanilla taste best but I recently found out about castoreum. WTH!

I doubt that companies that use cheaper ingredients to point that they have to label their "ice cream" as "frozen dessert" are going to use such an expensive item in their "food".

I'm not saying that it isn't used, but I'm quite sure that penny-pinching mass-market food companies aren't the main users of castoreum - petrochemical based food additives, yes. I think that most of the media has become very lazy and run with stories without thoroughly checking them, so long as they generate viewership/readership.
Anyway, my two cents.
