Was denied price match on the Natural Selections meat after a month of no problems at South Keys location in Ottawa. CSM offered to price match a higher price from her phone directed at flyersonfire (Did not know that was an official walmart app /sarcasm). I left the stuff and walked out and promptly e-mailed them on their web site. will update...

Were you price matching a store in the same city your in or a national store? Just asking because even though you may have been price matching from stores nationally, it may not have been that WM's policy and some of the personal are perhaps not aware of that fact. Hopefully you get an answer back soon. Let us know how you make out.

The previous times were national printed online flyers as well, and CSMs have been asked in the past but this CSM did not allow it.

South keys price matches canada wide? Was not aware of this.
Thinking of opening an ING account use this number 35728975S1 and both of us get a $50!! dollar bonus.

Maybe the store has reverted back to local only (which is the current policy), and that's why the denial for a national flyer?

ALWAYS ask the store manager. The csm and cashiers know nothing if no one tells them. I've been price matching Canada wide for a while now and with multiple confirmation from the managers I still get the occasional csm or casher who tries to deny the price match. In the end it's up to the store manager. If the manager says yes then don't ever let a csm or cashier deny it unless the manager talks to you directly if any recent changes have been made.

Usually you get that when they ask the local manager to contact you directly, but according to Walmart HQ they do not PM canada-wide so they generally wont do anything about complaints about it

Wal-Mart does not PM Canada wide but usually the store will do it out of good will to keep a happy customer. But it is at that manager's discretion. But the ethics behind it is that those discount stores are buying product that is nearing their expiry date so they get it cheaper. Walmart does not get the same price. Therefore you are PMing 2 different quality products.
