What age do you have to be to qualify as a senior at SDM? Just asking because I'm hitting the big 5-5 this year...

On Shoppers's web site, Age 65 and above qualify for Senior's discount. Here's their write-up.

Shoppers Drug Mart hosts a Seniors Discount Day on the last Thursday of each month. To be eligible for the 20 per cent discount on regular-priced merchandise, a customer must be at least 65 years of age, and must present their personal Shoppers Optimum card. This past weekend, I was researching and found a lot of Senior's Blogs site with the incorrect age of 55 posted.

[Side note: Rexall also qualifies on age 65 and above, PJ Pet qualifies on age 55 and above]

It is 55 at most stores. All the stores in my local area (about 6) say it is 55. I do believe that stores have the right to set the age though. But definitely ask, because I bet they'll tell you 55

I have been told 65 as well, so maybe it depends on the store.

I do know my dad turned 65 a couple weeks ago and now a lot of his emails have switched to the "seniors" offers. A couple weeks ago, my sister and I got the Monday offer (18500 pts), but his email was for the Thursday discount day instead. He's never had special senior emails before this month.
