Spend Your Points Event March 21 & 22- What are you redeeming for?

I have gotten the cheques with the full amount so far and have done it about 5x. Maybe I have slipped under the radar.

Head office quoted the fine print. "Not to be used in conjunction with any other Shoppers Optimum points promotions or events." Since it was a "Spend your points Event" according to them it would not work and I sent them scans of my receipts and coupons. They scanned as "invalid" at the cash during the Xmas redemption weekend even though they weren't expired. Lost out on 7000 points.

Yeah your slipping by under the radar lol. And SDM head office will quote that for everything because everything says that. Technically you can't use the $20 off $75 when you redeem either. It works if they enter it but it says you have to spend $75 after redemption. Anyways, next time just stand there until it scans lol. It will work, they just have to get the barcode at the right angle sometimes

I paid just over $10 dollars out of pocket. And the saving on my receipt came up to 213 and change.

And yes it was total overkill on the stouffers / lean cuisines but the Stouffers points add up to additional 10 more Entree's which will be yet another 2.5 etc... etc..

Only 415,000 points left to spend.

My shopping buddy and I did 4 $200 redemptions. The SDM staff were great and excited for us. One stated all that hard work is paying off.
#1 redemption was an XBOX. My buddy is a gamer and was really happy. I convinced him to join me in getting points for this very reason.
#2 was mostly canned soup. I got a movie that I wanted and rebate offer item.
#3 was mostly tuna, salmon and chunky soup
#4 was mostly Easter chocolate, but included a power bar, and 2 bonus Nyquil.
Not bad for my buddy who mostly buys pizza, pop, chips and cookies with his personalized coupons. He used to spend all his money on take out pizza.
