Well, I bought my fitbit 2 years ago and started walking. In the first year I lost 40 pounds ( I was aiming for 1 a week). I went from 4000-6000 steps a day and now I'm up to 14000-20000 a day. I watched how much I ate but I never gave up my treats. I would have my treat of 6 pringles or mini chocolate bar if my calorie budget allowed at 9 pm. I never punished my self if I went over for special occasions, I started fresh each day. I never went below my minimum BMR (minimum daily calories needed for basic body function) In nice weahter I also bike to work (4Km one way)
If any one else has a fitbit and wants to add me, just PM me for my fitbit email addyThis thread is currently associated with: N/A

Thanks everyone, I wanted to do it slow and easy. Now 6 people at my work have pedometers and I have 2 walking buddies in the morning, goes faster when you're talking with someone.
