Redeemed today at Superstore and the cashier also insisted on charging tax and even the manager insisted on charging the tax since they both couldn't read the small print that tax is included.

I got charged $1.04 tax for two Twix and two Nature Valley bars! The hell this chicken [me] is going to raise any concern lol

I usually just pay the tax, it's not worth raising my blood pressure lol. I have run into cashiers who have deducted the tax so I considered that a nice little bonus lol.

Usually do the same Anne but since these coupons specifically said that they included taxes and since I had mine and my Mom's I decided to raise my blood pressure a little But you are right, it is usually not worth it.
