SDM’s response re: Food & Snacks vs Snacks & Candy

I got this info from an Optimum rep who said they received a clarification on what qualifies for which promotion:

The same items qualify for either promotion with the exception of beverages. Some beverages qualify under Food & Snacks. But NO beverages qualify under Snacks & Candy.

(Sorry - I don’t know which beverages qualify for food & snack. If you have info on this, please post )

If you do these promotions often, I suggest you call and check for yourself and then ask the rep to put it on your file - then record for yourself the name of the rep and date & time of the call for future reference.

Hopefully, everyone gets the same response!

I just happened to have it loaded! PC shrimp rings were on a good sale, so I loaded up for the holiday season, and then bonus! lots of points!

Do you remember if you were charged tax on the shrimp ring? Last time I tried to buy one at my Loblaws store, they tacked on tax - so I said never mind and bought a bag of shrimp tax-free.

Yeah, I was charged tax at both SDM and Fortinos on shrimp rings.

Lol, definitely. I'm wishing I would've stocked up when they were $9.99 over Easter weekend! I remember when that was their regular sale price.
