I'm new to sdm and really utilizing the points. Can someone explain here to me? This would be my first real mega redemption. Do you try and match these offers in you redemption to earn more points when spending points? I see a few offers I could use. When it says "hidden" what does that mean? Sorry for all the newbie questions but gotta start somewhere!

Some are attached points which means every item gets those points so you can load up. Printable coupons are once per transaction like the VIB ones. Spend x receive x cannot be combined with other spend x offers.
Optimum is a strategy game which you can become very good at when you learn all the tips and tricks. I personally view manufacturer coupons as money and reward points as interest on money spent. The offers in this thread can help you earn more interest on your investment.

I'm not sure I understand the question.
But when you redeem $10 (8000) at a time you use 8000 ($10) regardless the only benefit of the mega is at the two tiers 50,000 ($100) and 95,000 ($200) they are worth more at these levels but things are often over priced or not on sale
Normally it's 50,000 = $85 and 95,000 = $170

And yes you can only earn points per $ on money spent oop after redemption but you can earn bonus points attached to items ie. 400 for Tostitos and of course all the items listed in post 1 would be items you can buy with points and earn points at the same time
