It's that time of year again!! February 21st is....

MARDI GRAS!!!!

So come on in, get your dancing shoes ready and get ready for some great fun (drinks and jambalaya may or may not be included )

The Mardi Gras package Train is ready to depart!

Guidelines:
1. YOU MUST HAVE MORE THAN 50 POSTS!!

2. Trade rating of 20 or higher **exceptions can be made depending if someone is able to vouch for you**

3. I reserve the right to refuse a rider.

4. Rider List will be checked before seat is confirmed.

5. No negative ratings **exceptions can be made given the reason/length of time of the neg rating**

6. Please advise how many other trains you are participating in when requesting a seat.

7. May only ride 1 pkge train at a time ** again exceptions can be made**

8. If you don't send a pkge you will receive 2 negative ratings; 1 from conductor and 1 from your buddy.

9. You will not be able to participate in future pkge trains if you don't send a gift regardless of length of time.

10.You must provide a tracking number.

11.Conductor is not responsible for lost or missing pkges

12.SC owner/admins/mods/poster of this thread are in no way responsible for lost /stolen/misplaced gifts

13.If you don't mail on time you will not be able to ride the next pkge train

14.If you are not active or do not thank your buddy you will not be able to ride the next pkge train

15.If you have not left a trade rating from a previous train , you will not be able to participate

There will be fun & games throughout this train Stay Tuned for further announcements!

All riders must send 6 Wish Items to their Special Person (you can send more). Travel sizes/samples are allowed but are only considered EXTRAS.

Each person needs to send me a list of 25 items or MORE for your Special Buddy to choose from. You will not get everything on your list but the more varied and easy to find wishlists does factor in to what you will receive.

Now the twist is that you must include at least 1 Mardi Gras related item in your parcel. So I am asking everyone to add at least 4 extra items to their 30+ list. These extra items should be inspired by Mardi Gras!

Ideas Include:
Craft items
Beads
Necklaces
Trinkets
"junk" food
Make up
Sports memorabilia
Dance inspired items (CDs,etc)
Shot glasses

To join this train: Post on this thread if you would like a seat; including any other trains you are currently riding and then send me your WL and addy once you are approved (thumbs up smiley) by Jezzeebelle!

Please Note: Postage is more than a regular train, but it will be worth it when you receive your package !!

PLEASE: Post in this thread when you mail your buddies gift and when you receive your gift (make sure your camera is working! We all want to see pictures of your buddies thoughtfulness!!)


IMPORTANT: This train will be boarding until Monday at 9pm EST. After that I am requesting wishlists be submitted no later Tuesday at 7pm EST. If I have not received it by this point you will be bumped from the train as I know how excited everyone is to get their buddy and I don't have the time to chase people for a list.

Gentle Reminder: although quality dollar store items are fine, please do not give a package that is only dollar store products. Remember how you want to feel opening your package and extend the same courtesy to your buddy.

I have 2 black eyes now and I kind of look like a ferengi from Star Trek with all the swelling. My eyes are open like slits lol. On the bright side I don't have to make dinner tonight....

My package was mailed on Wednesday for the Roses are Red package train and I've PM'd the tracking number. I'll have to google mardi gras stuff too I'll get my wish list together and send it along tonight.
