My one going to school is enjoying it, but is getting bored too fast in class. My youngest hasn't started yet, and misses her big sister terribly.
Question of the week? How do you deal with attitude and language matters that may have occured after school began?
No problems here except for the baby. He likes to shock us with his language, and he is like a sponge, repeating everything he hears and frequently. Can anyone suggest what to do to stop this? I have tried ignoring him, which results in him yelling the curse word, tried to tell him its "bad" but it doesnt work. Tried to change the pronunciation of the word to change it to another word, but he sticks to the curse word. If anyone has any suggestions we are open to them!
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all the busy Mom's and Dad's here on SmartCanucks.
Thank you DLil, hope you had a great entry into the New year as well. Wow the language thing, mine does it too, but her words have to do with body functions. I try to ignore it, and sometimes it seems to go away, till she hears it agian.
Question of the week? Did you or your family make it this far with any New Years resolutions?
Does anyone else have a child that just refuses to go to bed? I am getting so tired of the youngest staying up way past her bedtime, and I end up giving in so she dosen't wake up her sister, or the hubby who leaves for work much earlier than I.
Question of the week? Do you have any children getting the winter blahs?
Moe my son is driving me nuts with the winter blues.. He keeps trying to ride his bike on the ice and just doesn't get that he will slip..
Was my sons third b-day yesterday. Too much chocolate and sugar is a bad bad thing....
