Aw shucks, you guys. Well, thanks to EuropeanPenguin, YOU AND ME, Patty Smyth, eisafree, and AnnieP for coming out to the get-together. I agree 100% with Patty (in her post she linked to) about how nice it is to meet others in person who are into couponing too. It was great exchanging info, sharing laughs (love your laugh YOU AND ME!), and getting to know each other. And everyone was so generous sharing their coupons. I came home and started organizing my new goodies even though I had other things I was supposed to be doing Patty wasn’t kidding when she said she was bringing a big stash!

The location and the parking situation, esp the municipal lot, worked out and the consensus was it would be a good regular meeting place. I thought it would be nice to take turns organizing the get-togethers. Thanks Patty, for agreeing to organize the next one

I hope the rest of you can make it next time!

Don't be shy... we had a great time. After all we all have one thing in common... love for coupons and deals that no one else in our families understand LOL.

Silly question, but how did y'all recognize each other? I have this funny image in my head of somebody holding a "Crazy 4 Coupons" sign though it was probably more likely that people are less wacky than that.

Rylkat, the cafe was quiet, as the owner said it would be except for people doing take-out. I arrived 10 min early and saw a woman having tea and dessert. I asked her if she was there for the couponing group. She said yes -- that was YOU AND NE. We moved to an area in the back and chatted while waiting for others to show up. Then as more SCers came in, I either asked if they were looking for the couponing group or they just naturally came over when they saw us. We were the only group there. So, no crazy signs -- just crazy couponers

Well, I am supposed be be coordinating the next meeting so I will throw out some dates and you guys let me know what works. I think the place was great last time and parking was cheap and available so I would keep it there.

My guess is Saturdays are best for everyone. So what about July 10 or 17th?
