OMG!! don't ever go here to buy jewellery!!

My mom put down a deposit on a diamond and ruby ring at Dallany Jewellry at Lougheed Town Centre, and left it there to get it appraised one month later. However, when we got there, the lady who originally sold it to us, was there - super nice, but so was another nosy older lady. Mom wanted to watch it get appraised, but the older lady wouldnt let her and kept on telling us that 'you get good deal you get good deal' and so the original lady took us upstairs to the sister store, Augusten Goldsmith, where they had an appraiser on site. After he appraised it, I asked him if it was real - and he said the diamonds are...but the ruby - which was said to be 3.5 carat, was injected with a clarity injection. When my mom had put a deposit down on it, she specifically asked if it was 100% natrual. They claimed yes. However, we went back downstairs after the appraisal was done. We told the younger lady that it was not infact 100% natural, and it was injected with some clarity injection. The lady then turned to the older lady, which told us that we were getting a good deal and that when it was sold to us, it was not written on the tag or that none of the stores here sell 100% natural rubies, and alot of other BS. She said if we want, we don't have to take it, as the appraisal is different from what was actually sold to us. My mom told her that she wants to think about it, and will come back tomorrow. The older lady then goes and says "HOW LONG DO U WANT US TO HOLD IT?? WHY DONT U CALL UR FRIEND NOW? I CANT HOLD IT FOR U" i replied to her that i they are overseas and are they willing to lend their phone to me to pay for the international fees? everytime i asked her a question, she would COMPLETELY ignore it and say something else like you get good deal..this is worth $3900 say on appraisal, but u only pay 1400 blahblahblah..then at the end..my mom was like..just forget it..i dont want it anymore..and she goes..so how ong do you want me to hold it for? im like..you JUST told me you cant hold it..so i dont want it anymore..and she kept on saying SO much BS that were repetitive and irrelevant. she then said, ok fine, you no want? u pay $40 plus tax for appraisal. and i told her..no..the appraisal was included with it, and i was specifically told that if it did not match the appraisal, i had a choice that i did not have to buy it...She told me that because she was not there when it was sold, she cant do anytihng about it. i said..yes..because you werent there, why are you involved with this now? she shoved me her reciept and told me to leave a phone number. I asked for a phone number, and she wouldnt give it to me, nor would she give me a managers name. She told me to come back, and i defended by saying - so you're making me take my precious time from my schedule to come again?and she said rudely, well my time is precious too! im here serving YOU and wasting my time! at that point, i got REALLY mad. i literally said..THATS YOUR JOB! you are SUPPOSED to serve me, and quite frankly, you're not doing a good job. and right then, she calmed down and said, yea..im here serving you thats my job.

At the end, i was just sooo sick and tired of her attitude that I ignored her in the end. I ended up talking with the younger nicer lady, who in returned gave me the business card and name of contact, and wat time i can contact them at.

On the business card, there was a number of the other location in Coquitlam centre. I decided to call them right away to see if a manager was in. I called and a gentleman picked up. He was super rude to being with, and he said no manager was in and how he can help me. Of couse, i did not want to tell him the whole story and waste my time if he could not do anything, so i said nevermind, i'll just call back when manager is here. he proceeded to YELL at me over the phone and demand me that i leave a name and number and WHY. I hung up and now im left with calling someone tonight, or waiting until the manager is back one a month..

all i can say is..all the stores have BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!! all very very rude besides the young lady.
