here, in BC, on most products that aren't food items, you are paying both pst and gst--so on those products, the taxes would have to be taken off the coupon amount since that is what the coupon actually specifies.
the manufacturer is saying the taxes are to be included in the value of the coupon. LD is saying that they are still going to charge you the full amount of taxes for the product (and quite rightly since it's like handing over money). But LD would have to abide by the manufacturers' rules in accepting the coupon as tender.
Elfpoop? Is this correct? or can you help us understand how LD would apply a $4 manufacturer coupon and a $2 LD coupon to a product that is $5.99?

When the coupon says it includes tax in face value, the tax is still being paid for the item like its supposed to, just some of it is by the manufacturer, not just us. You can use the $4 and the $2 on the razor for $5.99 plus tax, the manufacturer would be paying a penny of the tax as long as the 1 coupon at least says the taxes included in face value.

I am going again on Friday to LD for my second stacking experience. I am going with someone from the forum who is super friendly and helpful. Hopefully I can get more stuff this time around and ask about my missing gift card from Monday's purchase.

Oliver Square LD is not bad - depending on who you get. They are still stacking, of course - as of yesterday (: ! Can't see it stopping anytime soon. When it comes to the coupons, as long as they have all different UPCs is the latest - as we all know !
Sherwood Park LD is the best yet. The other night I was @ 148$ and got it down to $1.87. Not only was she a great cashier, but she complimented on savings and was super organized! Also, the store doesn't seem to be as busy as others - which is great for those extended coupon shopping lists. LOL

Sorry, but it seems like each LD is different
(I have read some in Calgary even give "cashback" in the form of a giftcard for the value OVER the price of the item when using a MFC
)
105 street-51 Ave Edmonton London Centre will adjust the last manufacturer coupon so that it cancels out the GST as well (as far as my experience with 2 customer service cashiers -- another CS cashier who works evenings wouldn't accept the $2 MFC and adjust it to 0.75$ ; she called a supervisor and that guy is stupid... so I did complain to my other supervisor and hopefully they got their act straightened out there now guys)Please Support animal shelters across North America!!!

Can anyone confirm if LD will accept printable coupons? I know sometimes they say yes but only up to $2? Is this correct or will they take over this amount. Anyone use them in Winnipeg?
