I appreciate your post. It saddens me that people will stoop so low. I would also love to see a thread of displayed marking and termination of bullies on this forum too. Issues addressed such as: wrongfully ganging up and expiring threads becuase of "assuming" and projecting becuase of lack of facts or what someone may assume is being said rather than what that person really did say. It would be nice to see some rules made about that like for instance. No negative comments allowed. If you disagree, either PM respectfully that person requesting further information for clarification or wait for a moderator. People should not be allowed to take things into their own hands and be mean. If they do, they should be terminated. If they disagree, they shouldn't be allowed to post things they disagree with that were never said in the first place. If they do, be prepared to be marked or terminated. I am finding more and more are quick to give their opinions but slooooooww to actually read what was said. Very quick to "read into" things. For these reasons, this forum is getting out of hand for those who feel entitled to bully, call names, inuendos and accuse. Its not right and it saddens me to watch others get this treatment so often. I would love to see a rule saying no public statements of disagreement allowed. If people are able to get marked and terminated for not honoring trades, they should equally get that for bullying or casting motives on others and judging others wrongfully and unprovenly. If they don't like a thread, they should keep thier opinion to themselves or you get marked. Go to a moderator, let them deal with it if a threadholder is abusing the system too. So sorry to all of you who have been scammed or bullied.

Should we take away the freedom of speech as well??? Sorry, but by definition a forum is:

a public meeting place for open discussion

If we are not allowed to have discussions, both agreeing and disagreeing with people and their views, this would not be a forum. You know, the best thing about living in Canada is that we do have a freedom of speech. I don't think this right should be taken away just because we are "online".

If a person doesn't like what is said, don't read it or don't respond to it.

Am I saying that people should be attacked? No. But I'm definitely saying that people should be allowed to have discussions and talk freely with one another without feeling the threat of being "terminated".

Almost everything you said is already implemented. But people need to contact moderators to report it and we investigate it on case by case basis, and we go from there.

However, I don't agree with the line "I would love to see a rule saying no public statements of disagreement allowed." There are ways of tactfully disagreeing without being rude and disrespectful.

Sorry, I wasn't very clear. Your right, that is what I meant by it. I meant to say disagree in a respectful way is fine. But if peope are disagreeing with name calling etc. I think thats not appropriate and it is being done. People have opionions. everyone does, that will never chang and thats fine. Its the way its done that I am in protest again. If people are being abusive, I personally am not okay with people expressing those types of oponions. I am sorry for my unclarity. I hope I am being a little more clear.

I think our Moderators do an amazing job of keeping SC clean, friendly, and pain free lol.

As much as we hold these hard working mods up on a pedestal, they are not in fact gods and godesses, and therefor cannot be on every post, all the time.

I have only reported a post once, but very quickly, it was removed, drama free! (I think lol)

I would value them somewhere between cpns & GC ..I certainly wouldn't value them at full price of an admission tkt like $ 12 or anything like that ...bcoz there are lot of B1G1 movie cpns & other movie cpns out there , plus you can usually see the movie for much cheaper on certain days & times ...like matinees , Tuesdays etc .

So on the 27th I received an envie of coupons that all expired on the 31st so whatever I didnt think it was a huge deal I just ignored it. THEN yesterday I got an envelope of coupons that had already expired in april as well as expired yesterday. I am pretty miffed, especially since I don't exactly know who the users were, and I threw out the envelopes before I even checked the coupon dates.

So to whoever it was THANKS... I hope you are enjoying your end of our trade.

Hi guys! I have a question and I would like everyones input :)

I conduct many trains. One of my trains (VWT) was over two weeks ago and I'm still waiting for feedback from a few members. I've PMed them about 3-4 times and gotten no response even though I can see they are online.

My question is: should I leave neutral feedback until they give ratings? They didn't follow all the rules so I don't believe they deserve positive back.

What should I do?!?

Sorry that happened to you. I went through the same experience once, and now have learned to ALWAYS ask what the expiry dates are!!

My opinion, and it's just that, would be to leave well enough alone. Assuming they followed all the rules for the coupons (ie sent the right amount, right coupons, on time ect...) Leaving a neutral rating simpy because they haven't given you a rating is a little harsh IMO. Perhpas they weren't terribly happy with the train and decided no rating was better than getting into a tizzy. But if they didn't follow the rules about coupons, mail dates, ect.. that's a whole other ballgame.

I wouldn't leave a neut rating in those circumstances....I would just not leave them a rating at all......I also won't let those ppl ride future trains ....

How would you rate a fellow rider on a VWT that gave you substituion coupons? (i.e. close but not quite). Since I can stack I am looking for specific coupons on my wishlists and include the expiry dates and UPCs so there can be no confusion. This has happened to me once or twice and I have left positive feedback for the person b/c I gave them the benefit of the doubt/assumed it was an honest mistake but I think next time I should just not give them a rating and let the conductor know why. What does everyone else do in this situation??

Hate to complain.

But wondering what the protocol is.

I am a passenger on 2 VWTs which have stalled big time. On one the conductor said they said they had received all the envies and had sent the envies back 2 weeks ago (May 19) and no one has received an envelope.:shrug:

The second one, the conductor last posted May 25 that they were waiting for one more envelope and we have heard nothing since.

I am concerned. I hope the envies are coming home. And I hope the coupons are not all expired.

Sally should I PM you the conductors names... or am I jumping to fast.

well at least I know it wasn't me all my envies are back safe and sound lol!!!!
