all Im trying to get across here is this, I understand no Boo has choose not to get involved in the trading process, but what I don't understand is that if this site is being used to trade with other people, which it is a VERY active part off this site, and why I refer people, I don't see why there isn't an active page where there is a list of the people who have scammed others, & maybe these people won't agree the ones on the list won't however .. it could be labelled as a warnings page, and the names can have check marks beside the persons name.. so if someone complains they get a check mark, too bad what the people who get the checked marks think, because it shows others there are issues with these people. I hear many things about people who have perfect feedback, and we'd never know the bad since no one wants to leave the bad feedback and then have issues.. if its privately sent to someone who is in CHARGE Of this form.. and they just put the check marks.. it gives others a chance to glance at it and then decide weather they want to take a chance and trade with them again!!..!

anyhow..!! .. its too bad! that there isn't enough MOD's .. for one of them to be in charge of this or rather even enough $ to hire one!!

There is no one who handles it because Boo and the mods prefer to stay out of trades. If something goes wrong or a bad trade happens, it is not our responsibility. That said, Boo has put a few systems in place to try to help the good traders avoid scammers (like the trade rating system). You trade at your own risk on these forums.

If anyone has suggestions how to improve the trade process without Boo hiring someone, by all means, suggest it here for Boo to read. I'm sure he will take it into consideration.

Hey guys, I need some help with a minor situation I'm having.

But as I was putting the coupons in the envie, I went to check the expiration date of all the coupons before I put them in. I happened to find one coupon ($0.75 on any one Dr.Oetker Lava Cakes) to be somewhat expired. And what I mean by that is, the expiry date they put in english says June 30, 2009, where as the french one says Le 30 Juin 2010. I PMed her to ask what she'd like me to do with the coupon, but she hasn't replied and I also left her a message on her profile.

She hasn't been online since the day we worked the trade out, and it's been almost a week, and I received her trade very fast. What should I do? I was asked to send her 2 of these so I don't know what I can put in for it without her telling me.

I had those coupons on my trade list and than goodness noticed the date before trading.If I was in your situation I would include the coupons and some extras along with a note explaining the situation and pop them in the mail.I am sure the trader will understand that you tried your best to reach her before posting.If it is not suitable to her you can just pop another envy in next week when she receives the trade with something she choose from your trade list.

I am making note that I have posted twice in the coupon thread and thought I would post here I did a trade for Bistro's and the envelope came back wrong address strange thing is the one person that has a simalar address was not that person. Pm'd three other people no luck. It looks like it was in Dec. because I always put extras and the extras are Dec 31 2009 and I have reindeer stamps lol. So I am letting all who see I tryed to find this person and can not? If this person comes on here please just PM me the coupons are good to June 2010. Just very odd that in Feb I fianally get my envelope back more proof that Canada Post is slow.

Negotiating back and forth and then finally settling on a trade a week before Christmas. The coupons being sent my way expired at the end of January. I sent a couple of PM's after 2 weeks had passed. Didn't get a response except once. They said they couldn't understand what had happened as they had put them in the mail the same day we agreed on trade. Pm'ed again after three weeks to see if they had received my end. They had. Envie finally arrives on January 27, postmarked January 22. Obviously coups expire in four days. The nature of these coups also meant that the opportunity to "spend" them was also long gone. They were for those $5 off Gillette Gift sets. If the coups had arrived even two weeks after we struck our deal and I couldn't find any place to use them then my bad, but I am thinking they didn't get mailed until almost the end of January, hence the January 22 postmark. I PM'ed the sender and the response was.."really, that's too bad." Not in a mean way just a disinterested way. This person is also the last/lost stop on a least one train. Now I know that the two things might be completely separate but... I know I would have offered to work out some kind of deal or is that just me? What do you think?

I would give them a negative rating. That is unacceptable on all levels. If she responds to the negative, tell her .."really, that's too bad." Sent the 22nd. No.

I agree a neg rating applies here ...but I would p'm them to let them know you feel you have no other options as they did not hold up their end of the deal...maybe they will offer you something to make the trade rather than getting a neg rating....just my 1 cents worth :O)

This does include trains as well. If she joins a train, the conductor has the option to exclude her.

To date she has still not contacted me to explain her negative rating status, which is why I've posted no update. I am waiting for her response before I decide to put her name on the blacklist.
