This is NOT a negative trade experience, but I thought maybe I could find out something here. I was a passenger on maltia13's "end of year" train. lttlsan posted that she had received the train on October 19th and mailed it back out. Liwly was the next one in line, and then me. I haven't seen the train yet? I tried PM'ing maltia13 and Liwly but neither have been on in a while. Please note I am not saying anything bad about anyone, I am just wondering if anyone knows anything.

I think that a promise to "holds for another SCer in anticipation of a potential trade doesn't qualify for a negative rating. Life happens and sometimes a person forgets they talked to so and so about maybe trading such and such. I would put the onus on the person with the coupons to trade as to when to say "enough- I will trade these coupons with someone else"

It is not the "anticipation of a potential trade"that I am referring too.It is a trade agreed upon by both sides where one is a newbie that I am referring about.I just did a trade with a newbie for aprox.$200 in reg. coupons.Because they just joined in Nov. and have a zero trade rating I asked them to mail there end first.Usually if this was a small trade I would mail it out but because it was so larger I told them I would rather wait.Chances are this person is 100% trustworthy and will post there end but if they don't after agreeing they will I think they deserve a negative rating.Am I wrong for thinking this way??If they don't post I am out a potential trade with another trader.

Ah, sorry I didn’t read your first post carefully. That member is a whole different situation. I had the luck of being offered trade requests by her on more than one occasion.
This was my range of emoticons upon reading the persistent PM’s -you’d probably understand why ---

This has probably been asked before: Why does this individual not have a single neutral or negative rating considering all the buzz surrounding the bad experiences more than a few members have had? I personally would go ahead with a negative rating; thats just me though.

kaimui22- you diffently need to give a negative trade rating, to someone who you closed a trade with, ie. you send me stamps, I'll send you said coupons, that is a trade. A trade you didn't recieve.

still waiting for shawnsgal but i know she had family crisis things which is understandable, what i dont understand was how come other peoples trades within a week before she agreed to trade with me and others were never sent (what happened during that one week, she was okay to be online trading).... its been over a month and nothing or no response! and i traded for a gc....

It appears momof285 has left SC because of not sending her end of the deal (GC) It seems that coupons were being sent out but not the GCs she promised. Its been more than a month and still have not heard back from her. It makes me mad that she has the time to come on here and post in threads but can't answer a pm and give an explanation. I hate that I have been made a fool 3 times now.....Not happy at all!!!

Unfortunately, not only mellyskater, but also me, banana03, PrincessM, never got our parts of trade... I do agree that family always comes first and hope her daughter feels better... I would never even say a word, if she didn't sent me PM on Nov.20, and explained her situation and also mentioned that my trade was just sent that day (Nov. 20)...already December 7...I'm still waiting... What should I think? That I should be more patient (I'm waiting a month, and a week) and wait more, or that I was scammed already the fourth time!

Can anyone suggest how to rate a lost trains passengers?
I have two MIA.
One kinda has me grumpy because it supposedly took many weeks to get to them from the previous passenger, and it has been several weeks more since the last PM saying it was being mailed out and it hasn't arrived home. Should that passenger get a negative?
Advice?

You know-still being some what 'new' here I have definetly run into some pretty rude and right down mean ppl here! I had such a bad experience here with personal trades a few weeks back that I have almost completely stopped doing them...I am only trading now with ppl I know or those who seem credible! But-as my mother once said, " You cannot control others' behaviours, only your own!" Everyone needs to realize this too and leave the down right ruddies alone to themselves and keep to your own peeps who you love and trust! And just please--try and play nice--as a nurse I want to care and help others so here's to trying....
I love most everyone on here--so hugs to you all--you know who you are!

i just wanted to put my two cents in about the "m" girl everyone is talking about.

listen, she's young and she's a bit panicked about everyone turning on her. i did a trade with her and then had thought something had gone really wrong. today i got my trade just like she promised. yes, it did take a long time but she did not scam me. i honestly don't believe she's scamming anyone. as frustrated as i was at the time, i have calmed myself down since.

i do think she's young and got in over her head a bit. but i've talked to her about that and given her some advice on how to stay organized with trades and how to deal with people older than her so that everyone understands what is going on/the things she says. she seemed responsive to it, at least.
remember how much drama and angst seemed to cling to us when we were teenagers? [or was that just me and my friends? LOL]

i don't know if my voice/opinion in this matter will change anyone's mind but maybe a calm voice will help ease some minds. yes, all of the trades have been slow but give it some time and it may come yet.
and like someone else suggested, there is a reason we have the ability to give a "neutral".

Sadly this person offered to send me coupons for the Christmas hampers I was doing and nothing ever came...awh well--other ppl who said they would send did and I was able to get just under $400 in product for our son's school's Christmas hampers!

ok i sent a pm to tthe person i did a trade with the other week i sent him my via coupon last one too i may add and i still have not received my stamps i just said that i haven't received my stamps and if he could please get back to me asap well i guess i just wait to see what happens now
