Yeah, I had to ask if I was reading that right too. My cousin lived in Iqaluit, NU for a good portion of career. She recently went back for a visit and took this snap. Also (not pictured), one big bag of Old Dutch chips is $5.99.

I imagine it would be more difficult to get products up there, so it makes sense that it's so expensive. That's too bad. But it's cheaper to live up there right?

That is nuts! I guess you wouldn't want to go out to eat...if just shopping for goods is so high imagine the restaurant pricing OUCH!

I remember when I use to work at WM during University there was a family that would come in once every 6 months or so from somewhere way up north and they would buy cartloads of things to stockpile until they could come back again. Tons of detergent, cleaners and personal care items. I can see why, holy poop!
