Hi all,
so my VIL bought an electric chainsaw at Canadian tire a wile ago, not 2 years yet, but he lost his bill. so waranty work is out of question.
in the manual there is a parts list and a phone number,
so I called, GUESS what!!! they don't sell the parts!!! argggggggggggg they only do waranty works!! that is so stupid!! I was going to pay for the part!!
anyhows, I'm trying to find the manufacturer of Yardworks, so I could maeby order an OEM part ( large gear) for the yardworks electric chainsaw. anyone knows where I could find more help? I searched the net but could not find anything
the chainsaw he got is the Yardworks 16" elecric Canadiab tire # 54-5708-0 any help is very much apreciated

Next time call canadian tire 1 800 number, they willl give you that information no problem. I had to do that when Chads 2000 dollar tool box fell apart. I got the direct manufacturer.

OK here an update,
MTD could not help since they did not manufacture this particular model, so they gave me a number that does products for C.Tire, Home HW, and Home D.
called them and nope they did not manufacture thet model *LOL* the company that made this model is no more and they don't make parts for it no more!
the funny thing is C.tire still sells that chainsaw...
anyways VIL will get a new one somewhere else!
