never ever thought I would need percocet! But I do and sadly the long wait for the " repairs " of my knees is a reality I'm not understanding. This is a late reply. Sorry. Ski gloves. I have noticed a pattern with Costco. Oshawa North has the clearance first. They may move items to Oshawa south next. Oshawa south then has discounts. And if you miss it, Ajax has the clearance next.

Thankfully it’s warmed up and it’s starting to melt. Mind you that can make it a bit sloppy but oh well .
If you watched the news or googled Vancouver in the snow you would see that NOBODY can function (AKA drive) in the snow! Now if it rains we’re speed demons but a snowflake comes and we’re all in the ditch

you said it! I went to Loblaws JUST for the $4.99 butter and the parking lot was packed. Just the walk to and from the store was enough to convince me to drive right back home!
Glad that today is an ALL NHL day on the tv. DH and I are in heaven!

yep! That goat IS the actual goat that came up to her door on Halloween! Can ya imagine? Her hubby does all the handing out of candy while she sits basically sulking all night ( did I mention she hates this holiday ? ) BUT when MR. Goat returned this year her DH called her over and she said she ran into the street pushing kids aside to greet it! Now obviously no kids were harmed, she's joking about that.
She of course does not own the goat, I believe the owner lives a town over or something? Owner does this for the joy of seeing kids seeing her goat!

she sent a photo to me of it at her front door and I actually felt my eyes turning green! Baby goats are better BUT still this is a real show stopper for Halloween.....and so weird as Lynn cannot wait till that spooky holiday is gone! Wonder when WE will see the white flakes? So far it's just been the chilliest temps.

lol...It does feel odd not having a gang of relatives over for the bird holiday but I just went with my mood this year....as in " not in the ". As far a cooking that Butterball football frozen thing for us 3, by golly
they cook all by themselves FROM frozen in 4 hours. Today I found some Delicata squash! ( they are so good ) That's as close as it will be for having some traditional healthy veg on the table.

The date says summer is officially gone now, but our gazebo covering and roof panels being taken down and stored away will be the next thing to really mark the end of summer.

That saying " from womb to tomb " is how my sister described both my job and DH's . Union jobs, you know a form of security? These days young workers will probably have 2-3 different careers in their lifetime. No one wants to offer FT to any employees, they toss them contract work, PT hours and pay no benefits. How can people plan their futures with that? Frankie looks the same, maybe that's why no new photos? ha ha
