yes, it was a banner sun day here, front blinds open and everything! The guys took 2 of the large Red Prince apples in their lunch today and I watched a kids movie called Lyle, Lyle Crocodile and LOVED it!

lol!! Frankie gets all my attention when I feed him his fresh cut up bits of fruits each morning and his meal worms 4 times a day. He still takes pleasure in splashing most of the water in his dish out of the dish right after I have filled it with fresh. I change the bottom paper on the cage all the time to make sure he is in a clean cage....and yet he still won't TALK TO ME!! I see parrots doing it all the time on YouTube.
Ugh the lack of sunshine has really taken its toll on my mood. I am in no way a sun worshiper but I still enjoy seeing the bright skies to give me that lift. No sports on tv for me tonight.....bummer

Animal videos worm their way into my heart again and again. With primates it's their eyes that do it to me, for smaller, furry, cuddlier animals it's often their antics that reach my funny bone.
I intentionally made a promise to myself after the Jan 6th insurrection in the US Capitol 2 years ago that I was going to purge myself from CNN and MSNBC, ( to save my mental health! ).
Replacing that screen time with YouTube animal documentaries or Tic Toc short clips of pet silliness was the perfect way to bring me back to a hopeful place. So glad you passed on the doggy

The Coco nog is good but not like traditional nog. It is a lot thinner but I’m not really an egg nog fan plus when you add rum anything tastes good . For 99c can’t go too wrong, and it’s shelf stable before opening . I’m also going to use it to replace the plant milk in my pancake recipe.

That's ok! I have often misread words on the forum as being something else similarly spelt and ask myself am I seeing things or what?
A defecated bill would have tell-tale smell and would not be worth handling. I've read online in years past that some people would still
attempt to take in such bills to get tellers to replace them under legal reasons. Too nasty!

G’day, Skippy! You’re so right, some things never change in school! We’re fortunate with our GS, he excelled in elementary school, then middle-school 7,8 so his teachers told our DD and Hubby that he should bi in the International Baccalaureate program….a huge decision, but he’s excelling in it, in grade 9, wishes every class could be math, history, geography, lol, hates English which were our DDs and my best subjects, but still excels….the core subjects don’t follow the Ontario one, it’s international, and the other subjects encourage them in their interests…robotics, etc…but math is his love. He can recite Pi to 100 digits, can do math in Roman numerals, has 4 years classical guitar, can label every world country, province and state, so he’s quite handy on the Reach For the Top team…he’s also a trivia buff.

So….we are blessed in so many ways. And heading off to Punta Cana in 2 weeks,
