Hahaha, glad to be of help, @walkonby ! It’s so nice to just wake up, snap on the oven and have breakfast baking while Hubby and I unwrapped presents and sipped our traditional mimosas.
Great Christmas with the kids, gifts galore, games, prime rib dinner we all agreed will replace turkey from now on.
i hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and can relax for a few days as the countdown to Spring continues!

TGIF all! Days on end of the wet stuff has exasperated my arthritis. I'll admit it's better than having white stuff to shovel.
Coffee just didn't lift my mood this morning....the grey sky may have thwarted my caffeine high.

Hello out there wherever you may be...hope that you're enjoying this Christmas week and know what day it is better than I!...
Glad to report that DD and SIL are now Covid free so we'll be getting together this weekend( less the turkey which we cooked and shared with friends and shut in family.)Also my tendon has finally healed after six weeks for which I am truly thankful.I just need to build up my stamina again as I don't bounce back like Gumby.
All the best to you and yours in the coming year!Always remember the What are you thankful for today? thread as there always is something to be thankful for.

@Skippy you posted another trigger word that sent me searching Google for memes! Gumby? Too easy.
Just a matter of " time " before you are 100%.
Wonderful news about your healed up limb. You were correct about the duration of that mend, but thankfully it came around.
Plus your DD and SIL kicking covid out was the best!
Don't look now but earlier this afternoon Canada fell ( badly ) to Sweden 2-0 in the IIHF, and The Leaf's just blew a 4-2 lead over CBJ. It's 4-4 now. argh!!Last edited by walkonby; Fri, Dec 29th, 2023 at 08:32 PM.

Hop to it, it's January 2nd! ......oh wait, there's no rush. My fridge is still full of cheese and many items banned from my diet list. A true dilemma.
How long into January can I greet people with " Happy New Year! " before they roll their eyes at me?

good afternoon chat room buddies! No incentive at all to do what I should be doing. Well, I will pat myself on the back for getting all the Christmas Knick Knack decorations off the dining room table and into their respective storage boxes. I'm considerate enough to punch a few air holes in the boxes so the life like animal ones don't suffocate. ( Yeah I'm losing it )
The next phase is getting the guys to drag all of the filled boxes and bags to the basement to hide away until next year. The outside decor can stay up for now.
Maple Leaf's actually won a game last night, a shutout! Tonight lets repeat that!!
Very excited about my new stainless steel Moka Pot that arrived today.
It's compatible to place on my Portable Induction Cooktop. Pondering leaving it on the kitchen table and brew from there each day instead of on the stove.
