this #5 shot gave both DH and I side some effects. ( a first for us! ) Nothing terrible freally, just the usual sore arm, then DH got a headache and had noticeable hotness around the injection spot.
We both got extreme sleepiness, which would have been o.k. except that body aches came with it....lol. Oh I also got nausea. Hey other than that we were fine....lol
Yes about the beauty of Fall/Autumn/Pumpkin Season....the crisp air is so inviting and those red/orange/brown/yellow colours in nature always give me a lift.

skippy thanks for the well wishes yes i tested negative last friday ,still a bit tired,my congestion is almost gone .I didnt give it to my hubby .My son and his family had it last may ,my daughter and her son last dec .So 2 and a half yrs in and i caught it (i think from a store return to the mall ) as we only babysit the girls after school the odd day.Take care.

well DS was told because he lives here that he was not allowed to come into work since his Dad tested positive. So they both stayed off with no pay, actually we are still unsure IF they will see any pay for those 4 days ( 19th-22nd ) . For the Monday ( 20th ) luckily they had already booked off as a single vacation day.
Great way to waste a vacation day eh? Sit in the house....lol. All of this is hurting my brain. Maybe the Blue Jays will take my mind off covid for the night!

That's the spirit! I've found yesterday and today challenging due to the air not flowing indoors very well. Tonight, the air picked up pace by 8pm. It's been a sweatathon.
Convinced parent to get mineral water and watermelon today. We'll be in a better hydration situation for tomorrow. Need this heat to lose 10C at least!

I just came back from a 8:30pm hike out to the local Walmart-to get bandages, some soup cups and those two packs of Boost Simply+ to donate tomorrow. Nothing like running down to last set of bandages to motivate a walk. Just had no zip this morning. Evening is rather sticky despite cooling wind. The weather will break soon--just not on a walk!

Today's exercise was cutting some grass in the shade in the early part of day until gas ran out. Then doing laundry
before the muscles complained. Have to figure out timing for beverage run in the morning, since the heat is a BBQ
and there's a storm warning for afternoon.
Hope your friend has access to a Cubii pedal device if he can manage a seated position. He can build up his leg muscles that way gradually if at all possible.

I have not entered codes late this week. No instants wins and no e-mails about being $22K richer! Funnily enough, I ended up buying 2 Pepsis today because of my walking (water ran out) and well, two more codes to add to my last cap for next week! At least I will sleep well tonight (feet need recovery time).

Honestly, some of the humid days have messed up to do lists. If things are not done in the cooler hours of the AM, I forget or release the rest of the list. Just need to remember to tear up those lists on the same day.

Skippy, there is not day in the Spring and Summer that I don't ache with the knowledge that once DH is no longer capable of gardening....well, there will be nothing so beautiful in our yard after that, as I kill everything I've tried to grow. However, I am a miracle worker arranging plastic and silk flowers! ha ha
