  1. Thanks for still coming by despite all you're dealing with!
  2. Americans are obviously bad at making deals(an arms dealer for a basketball player)
Like I've always said, just when you think things can't get worse.
    Oh well keep on smiling!
  3. G’day, Skippy! You’re so right, some things never change in school! We’re fortunate with our GS, he excelled in elementary school, then middle-school 7,8 so his teachers told our DD and Hubby that he should bi in the International Baccalaureate program….a huge decision, but he’s excelling in it, in grade 9, wishes every class could be math, history, geography, lol, hates English which were our DDs and my best subjects, but still excels….the core subjects don’t follow the Ontario one, it’s international, and the other subjects encourage them in their interests…robotics, etc…but math is his love. He can recite Pi to 100 digits, can do math in Roman numerals, has 4 years classical guitar, can label every world country, province and state, so he’s quite handy on the Reach For the Top team…he’s also a trivia buff.

So….we are blessed in so many ways. And heading off to Punta Cana in 2 weeks,

I hope all’s well with you and your family, Skippy!

    Big hugs…Lindi
  4. Thanks for sharing the video of the kids singing. It's great listening to and watching the way they act. Some are into it and some could care less. I guess somethings in school never change!
  5. Port Loring is the nearest people place. I believe you are still further away in Algoma not Nippissing
  6. Me love cookies
  7. Glad to hear that you managed without your walker. Have a great Easter!
  8. Lol..you weren't seeing things, Skippy, I did leave it blank; I got so frustrated trying to post a meme from several sources that I gave up and walked away. I couldn't think of a thing to post, either! Hahaha!! Hope all's well in your corner of the world, we finally lost all our snow, and Hubby took little Jennifur and I for a walk around the block, no walker for me, and it was lovely! It's been pouring rain since, but I'm looking forward to more walks. Stay well, my Friend!
  9. There was just an empty post when I saw it! Honest!! I am not quite cookcoo for Cocoa Puffs!
  10. Your last post is cryptic! Welcome to my language!
  11. Thank you and right back to you!
  12. Dropping by to wish you and your Family a wonderful Christmas, Skippy!!!

  13. Hope and pray that your day improved after your Keurig but hey any walking helps to keep the joints working!
    Blessings my friend!
  14. Thanks for the rep! at 72 your doing great just being on here as I know others who have nothing to do with computers.
Oh yeah breathing is also very important at 72, let alone any age! I'm all for taking breaks but I'm my worst boss!
    Blessings to you and yours!
  15. I remember Bewitched! That was when TV shows were clean and funny not to mention good! unlike most shows today.
Blah,blah...when I was young...seriously the sixties were a great time to be a kid!
  16. Enjoy your day, Skippy!
  17. Skippy was only giving you a hard time! I'm all for Thanksgiving and Christmas too! Just reading your message gets me all excited for it!
  18. Oh, Skippy there's a lot between now and Christmas! Thanksgiving for one! Life is quite wonderful, no big worries, thank God, but Christmas is my most favourite time of year the year...perhaps childhood memories contribute to that, both Christmas and Little Christmas, Ukranian Christmas. Both were equally exciting. Also, love the lead-up to Christmas...the anticipation, already 2 gifts have arrived..the wrapping, baking, watching everyone open their gifts...the exception is the winter that follows! Wishing you well, Skipper!
  19. On to Christmas so you say...there must be something else between it and closing up the trailer...
  20. Indeed we do what we can and focus on that rather than what we can't which is easier said than done sometimes!
  21. Well...in my youth cricit might have been in my wheelhouse, but no....now Cricut is more my speed, lol. Honestly with my watercolours, resins, sewing and now my Cricut, this past year of self-isolation has been fantastic! I'm a bit jealous of your walks, however; I use a walker now and until this dizziness and weakness gets resolved, I tend to stay home. With ALL my stuff, Haha! We do what we can, right?
  22. I always think you're going to play cricket not cricut!
Whatever you are up to this weekend I hope it's a good one!
  23. Frankie's first car,Kids grow up so fast...keep them coming!
  24. Thank you, Skippy, they're over that 'flu', thank heavens. It takes a lot to knock them down, but they sure were. We're all back at our campground now, chatting with all our friends and neighbours we haven't seen since last year. We're not allowed on each other's properties, just chats in the street respecting our distance; many campground haven't opened up, but our owners applied to open, had us all sign wrt restrictions....if health folks drop in and find parties ( not unheard of here, lol!) they could be shut down. The parties will return after the 2nd! Hope you and your family are keeping well.
  25. Hope and pray your DD and SIL are faring better now and that you are keeping well too! Have a great weekend!
  26. There was some here late in the day,but squat so far today.
Are you starting your camping season on the long weekend?
  27. That's IF the sun comes out at all, Skippy....however, we're promised better days ahead...sure hope so; camping season is upon us! Take good care, Skipper!!
  28. Thank you, Skippy....wishing you and your Wife good health....keep safe, Mister!
  29. I am glad to hear that you're in good hands and you and Walker Texas Ranger will get you where you need to go.
P.S. you're only vain if you probably think this song is about you!
One day/hour/minute at a time, whatever works best for you!
  30. Walks and do have cooking and baking in common, it's fun to share recipes with someone and I agree, that cake wouldn't last long around here! My Hubby does most of the cooking here, also; I made dinner today but by the time it got into the oven my back was in so much pain. Standing seems worse than walking. I do make a pretty good sous-chef, though....but I do miss planning dinners and cooking like I used to. But wachagonnado, huh? Take good care Skippy...I quite envy your reading about your walks. Looks like my Walker and I will be dating more often..I don't know what I plan to do at camp...I'm so vain! Hahahaha!!!
