I went to Wal-Mart yesterday with a pile of coupons. My husband started unloading and I was about to start putting the coupons with the appropriate items. But then the cashier asked for my stack of coupons and rang them all through first, without even checking to see if I had doubles or had bought the correct item or anything. She did the free items and B1G1 items last and then rang through the rest of my stuff. We were out of there in record time and for once my Wal-Mart trip was completely enjoyable! Sorry there is no pic but I had already started putting stuff away and didn't feel like pulling it back out!
I got:
Huggies diapers $17.97 - FREE coupon from winning game on website= free! (supposed to be only up to $14 but she said she could do the whole amount, I was going to PM Zellers anyways for $14.88).
Pampers diapers $26.97 - $2 coupon AND $5 coupon (for when you buy wipes and diapers) = $19.97
Pampers wipes $3.47- $1 coupon = $2.47
Folger's coffee PM Zellers $2.78 (2) = $5.56
Weetabix cereal $4.87 - FPC = FREE
Glade tin $3.87 - TRY ME FREE = FREE
Herbal essance large shampoo/conditioner $5 each - B1G1 = $5 for both
Venus embrace 3 disposable razors and cream kit (2) $5 each - $2 = $6 for both
Old spice body wash (2) $2.50 each - $1 coupons = $3 for both
Garden cocktail 6 pack $2 on clearance
Motrin $4.27 - $5 coupon = +$0.73
Cheerios (2) clearance for $1 each
Frosted flakes clearance for $1
Motts freezie pops clearance for $1
Glade ultra $1.98 - $2 coupon = +$0.02
Evolve sandwich bags $2.27 - $2 coupon = $0.27
I also bought a few non sale/ non coupon items: large jar of penaten, turkey stuffing (2), baby mitts, and strawberries which were all reasonably priced as compared to other stores anyways. I forgot to get the crunch 'n munch on sale for $1 and they were out of the $2 water bottles but a pretty good trip overall.
The total was $69.03
I saved $57.71 with my coupons alone, not counting the PM, sale, or clearance deals.
Hooray!

How nice, its great to get a cashier who does not take coupon saving as a job threat.

I think that if you post the Walmart location and her name that she'll have the longest queue EVER!

It is so nice to find friendly helpful cashiers. Perhaps she is a major coupon user too and wanted to help out a fellow coupon clipper.
