Bump yet another one today:)
:)
ive seen threads like this a few times recently.
And that would include people who might be scamming you - if you help out with good intentions and get burned, well, s**t happens; I would rather be a little naive and helpful than suspicious of everyone's motives (even it it's justified sometimes) and keep everything to myself.
I think thats the sentiment I agree with- whether or not I get scammed (which most likely I would never know anyway) isn't as important as my intention to do a good thing. Often the giver gets more from the act than the recipient.
someone else posted "Who would throw out their coupons?"
I've done worse. I have a chronic illness, some days are worse that others but I can't wait for good days to do things or they would never get done, anyway, one day I was trying to sort important papers so hubby could get his taxes done-we hadn't been married very long and had just moved into a new place so things we overdue for sorting - I was in a lot of pain that day and at some point in the sorting I confused my junk and keep piles and I threw out some very important documents including my marriage certificate and by the time I realized it was too late. That was 16 years ago and I've got a lot of pain induced stupidity under my belt since then so I know stuff happens - but you have to apply common sense too. If it were a newbie I'd be more suspicious than I would with someone with a good history here (and I'm a newbie!)
Crap im sorry, I was guilty of this a few days ago, although, it was only a rant!! I was peeved, wasn't looking for raoks, just my "friends" to share my crappy day with. LOL But my coupons were found anyway so feel free to scrap that thread =) *note to self, no more of such thread*

Has anyone seen my paper mache donkey?
