Walmart looking at stacking???

I sent Walmart Canada an e-mail asking if they would allow stacking and mentioned that another major retailer in Winnipeg allows it. I actually got a phone call from a district manager asking about my e-mail.

What the manager wanted to know was how stacking worked and if I could tell him what store it was. I explained that it was LD and that as long as the UPC codes were different, they could be combined. The manager is taking this to the National Headquarters to see if this is something that they may introduce!!!

I would be so stoked if Walmart would allow this as their prices are generally better than LD - bigger savings for us.

If I hear anything more, I will keep everyone posted!

That would be fabulous!! I just hope that they don't go after LD some way. Not really sure what they could do but I really don't want them to stop the stacking at LD!

That would be nice if they would allow that. I love looking at what all you ladies and guys can get at LD from stacking, and if Walmart allows it, may be all of us can be sharing our exciting buys by stacking..whoohoo.

If WM allowed stacking....I bet we would see alot more people using coupons....

It would be a smart business decision though.....I live over 100km from any WM and only travel that far maybe once every few weeks. If they started to allow stacking I would probably start weekly. Only one store in my area allows printed coupons....so it would be worthwhile for me to make the trip to where my buck makes the biggest bang.
