Steak In Crockpot

I usually do just a simple receipe with my roast beef by just adding bbq sauce and letting it sit all day my kids don't like things mixed together so I don't do the vegatable thing ect ect just simple anyhow question lol could I do this with steak I have some steak don't want to pull out the bbq so I thought maybe I could simmer all day in bbq sauce in the crockpot. Tried googling but alot of recipes have mushroom soupo or something nasty the kids won't like. Thanks for your help!!!!

yes I have done this before, I just add about 1/4 cup of water to it so that the bbq sauce doesn't burn...

I've never thought of putting steak in a crock pot! I hate, hate, HATE cooked steak when it's done stove top or in the oven, it has to be on the BBQ. BUT now I'm thinking Im going to try it in the crock pot, I bet it would be delish!
