For a few reasons I debated on going to Shoppers Drug Mart after work today, but finally decided to give it a go. Glad I did as I achieved my goal: spend $50 before tax to get the Tim Card. Furthermore, after I was given the Tim Card and my Optimum card was scanned, I handed over my stack of coupons. Not a word was said, got smiles... and a "you're the coupon queen, eh!" and I made sure to say "I'm working on it and it's a lot of work, but the savings are SO worth it!" She was just lovely. SO, as others have stated, and now I know for myself, these "bonus things" (could be the exception tho) are NOT AFTER coupons. So long as the total, before taxes is over $50 (or whatever amount), you get that "bonus thing."
