Actually I just left a job because of all the gossip and drama that was happening..I was so tired of everyone talking bad about everyone and stirring the pot. I dealt with it for 4 years and I just had enough. I resigned on Sunday, Monday was the holiday and Tuesday I had another job (wish I was so happy to find so quickly).

My work is soooo bad for that and I hate it! I always say I am so glad I only work once a week and don't have to deal with all that stupid crap!

My work is also bad for that, specially if they dont like someone. But i work away from all the hustle and bustle so i dont get involved at all.

Doesn't seem to be bad here.. then again I avoid gossiping whenever possible, so I suppose it could be going on without me knowing about it... (Hides under desk to listen)...
Ah.. you know what? Perhaps blissfully ignorant is better. Plus, I don't think they ever vacumm in here....

I've learned to be a listener and not the talker I think that keeps me in the safe zone
I find that government jobs, there is so much gossip in the workplace that I think that is what workers there are getting paid to do!!! I have a friend who works at the revenue office and all they do is gossip and work as slow as possible. If work is finished any faster, they will only gossip about you as you're viewed as a traitor!

I am not necessarily in the same place all the time for work (Teacher On Call). But I don't hear gossip about colleague in the schools. Teachers mostly vent about students! I haven't encountered too many gossips as teachers. It isn't a wise idea to do so as far as I am concerned.
Proud Mom to two boys!!

I am the only female in my shop so I don't have anyone to gossip with
But I can tell you where the fish are biting or not...and where the trails are too wet to take a quad through *LOL*

I don't. We're so busy that we wouldn't have time to do that even if we wanted to. But there is one person, who if she knew about anything, it would make the national enquirer.

it's really how sad how workplace behaviour boils down to acting like kids
