In addition to the bunch of envies I received today (see thread: http://forum.smartcanucks.ca/94451-y...ay-too-canada/ ), I also received 2 trains. After I settled and everything, I took it to my local Rexall to mail it. Since today is my birthday (not literally), I have a feeling that I would find some good deals. I DID!!!

4x Shreddies Combo Pack on clearance $0.97-4x$0.75 coupons= $0.88 (yes, they have close expiry date but I'm pretty sure I could finish them soon!)
2x Garnier Fructis Colour Resist Anti-Fade on clearance $0.97-2x$1 (cashier took $0.97 off, oh well!) = $0.25

    Total: $1.13

Wow ! what a great haul. It's a good thing we all take our coupons with us when we go to mail letters I know I regret it every time I go to any store without the coupon binder.

I don't know about you but I really don't like the "NEW" diamond shreddies. Call me old fashioned but I like the square ones.

Hmmm, this trend that starts with I only went to... or I wasn't looking to get... sounds a lot like they need to follow the 12 step program.

Good deals BTW. I like the diamond shapes better.

Here are the 12 steps leeleelala. They're frpm Patty Smyth's post in the Tea Room:

Here are the (Un)official 12 Steps to Recovery from SC Overload!

    1. You must remove SC as your home page.
    2. You must refrain from using the following acronyms- WUB3, B1G1, FPC, DH etc. Feel free to add more you know them ALL.
    3. Put your computer/laptop in a dark, ugly room that you hate, preferably beside the litter box or diaper pail.
    4. Place a stack of coupons on the kitchen table, walk by them 10 times without looking at them.
    5. Stop hitting the refresh button every 2 seconds.
    6. Unsubscribe to all threads except this one.
    7. Tell your husband/significant other EVERYTHING!!! This includes all hiding places where you have the motherload of everything.
    8. Get back that child you traded for 5 Olay coupons and a pack of stamps.
    9. Repeat this line to a cashier "Sorry I have no coupons today".
    10. You cannot use any of Redmouses recipes for 1 month.
    11. On your next shopping trip you may NOT; use a ladder to get to the top shelf, hide items and come back the next day, go back and forth to the car to make multiple coupon purchases.
    12. Repeat after me "Hello, I am addicted to SC and my real name is not a cutesy, whimsical, off the wall handle it's really ___________" WHEW I DID IT.

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THOSE WHO TAKE THE FIRST STEP TO RECOVERY.

For all those who wish to participate, get their lives back on track, see their families again, the first annual convention will be held on April 1st 2009 at the West Edmonton Mall. Tour packages are available book now. Coupons available online at "ineedhelpreallybadlyicantgetoffsc.wacko.ca"<!-- GAL -->
