Children stated categorically they were too BIG for the splash pad.
They wanted to go to the pool where BIG kids go.
So I took them to the pool where big kids go.
Lake Ontario.
They were satisfied.

Thunderstorm, torrential downpour, 23 feels like 31. Yet another day that I don't have to water my garden :top:
Still extremely smokey from the wildfires and the sun is bright orange/red......I live by the ocean and the reflection of the sun makes it look orange.
The sky makes me feel claustrophobic as it's completely 'socked' in with the smoke.....really creepy feeling.
I sure hope they get the fires until control soon.
* I hope so, too. I remember how bad it was a few years back when northern SK had terrible fires.
12 now, going to 22 - showers. We only got a few drips yesterday.

We got almost no rain last summer.
This year it has rained virtually some part of
each day since I got here in mid-April.
It was raining yesterday. Cool (high of 18 today ) and cloudy. Started to clear off a bit around 6.

Ohhh my rock lobster .. were having better weather in Newfoundland then your getting.. not much rain so far summer.. it's been awesome ..we did get few good down pours .. sure need it grass is burning up with no rain .. not complaining whatsoever.. just hope better days come for ya .. ...it was a weekend packed with weddings & a beach festival..the weather was gorgeous mid 20's lots of sunshine , rain today but we need it :)
