Its a snow day here again for the kids, there was one on Weds too. Its yucky but not enough to cancel school IMO
At least daycare was open for my lil one.

Sally, I do not think that we are that far apart.. There is a little bit of snow on the ground here, but nonthing to have a snow day!! ( I'm sure the kidos would like it.. but.. no where near ) I have nonthing on my driveway! Now, it is freezing, but then again, I think that we do live in Canada... LOL
Have a good afternoon with your kids ( hopefully they nap for you )
Take Care and stay warm..

It's not so bad now: -23, but windchill of -36. We got a bit more snow, more is supposed to come this afternoon.
There are windchill warnings out for the weekend though - it's going to get colder, with windchills of -45.

sassypants - I know, me neither. Even through all my growing up, snow to the rooftops, you still got to school! Same with through my son's years of school.
I think the only exception was with the blizzard a few years ago, they let the kids go at 2 p.m.!
We're tough here on the prairies; we can handle 10 feet of snow and -50!!!
Now I have to go google the Dominican!

I'm pretty sure I am going to win the coldest place contest! Yesterday, with the wind, it was -48 (and some people said it got down to -51) Yes, that is celcius!! It is so friggin' cold that the car doors have issues, the trunk won't close and you can only got about 2 blocks before being cold beyond belief. Definately cold in Yellowknife!

If you squint your eyes you might be able to see snow here. I hope it snows at least once enough to cover the ground before Christmas. It puts me in the mood.

We have half a dozen snowflakes in downtown Toronto & a bunch of panic-filled weathermen. It is cold & windy though, but nowhere near as bad as the folks out west.
My friend has the best condo - it's right above a mall & connected to the subway. She can travel for miles without ever having to set foot outside, which is why she moved there. She's as much of a wimp as I am.

It's not too cold here, but the wind is nasty and bitter. Nice and sunny right at the moment
