oops! I forgot Quincy was the boy! Don't tell him I messed up. Our guys seemed to laze about over Easter ( like we did ) and for the Sunday meal we bribed them with a lovely full dish of food each but they had to eat it in the basement behind a barrier so there would be NO begging or whining going on while the human folk ate. Not a peep out of them , DH planned that pretty good.

such good news for Lily! I would also spoil her food wise after that, she has gone through enough and so have you with worrying. Now our dogs have their fur in a bunch because of the most recent dumping of the white stuff That combined with the brutal bitter temps means they are being sent into the backyard for their business. ( again ) and after DH had painstakingly cleaned up all the deck levels just 2 weeks ago....ha ha . I am sure looking forward to the end of this winter.

So HAPPY you are getting a vacation.. Been having a hard week, but coming out of it, and Buddy of mine passed a way with CJD, ( Jakob's Disease) and another Buddy's Mom passed, so have that wake today. Still suffering from lots of pain, and waiting egarsly for spring..

ha ha ! I caught myself really laughing at your impression of Lily Dog!! What a windy, nasty bitter cold day for anyone waiting on corners for buses! man, so glad it was not me.

the only thing Hamlet massages is my pillow for 5 minutes ( eyes closed ) until he settles into a spot to sleep....he always gives me a chuckle when that routine is followed. So the snow is falling here! They said " flurries " but this stuff looks like it is sticking to the ground!

I vote for pets! They almost never lie to us.....well they get guilty looks but they admit NOTHING!

Next door neighbour is better. Very little noise now that his girlfriend has moved in. Now upstairs neighbour has decided to throw parties. , but better once every few months than every weekend. Hugs to you!

I witnessed much of the same watching my DH family go at it when my MIL passed. We got nothing ( possessions wise ) BUT we simply refused to be part of the smash and grab activities that were taking place, poor pops was still alive but that never stopped them from robbing him BLIND!!! ( his dementia had a way of helping them justify what they were doing ) Grrr!
