The City of Toronto has issued an extreme cold weather alert as temperatures slide into the low minus teens.
This is the first extreme cold weather alert for Toronto so far this season.
The city issues alerts when the temperature is forecast to dip below -15°C.
Tuesday's forecast high is -15°C, but bitter northwesterly winds could make it feel like -24.

not too mention. we are only like 11 days into Winter officially. so yep totally ready and expected it.. plus we always go by a caterpillar we see every fall. two years in a row hubby has predicted exactly what would happen weather wise for winter. this year again. spot on.

already had a couple days of -17 to -20 here in the last couple weeks.
Ha! High of -19 and a low of -24 here in North Bay, Ontario! :yikes::eek::shock:
which really means high of -27 low of -35 with the wind chill.
