Spring is in the air :love: We still have tons of snow but a lot melted yesterday as it hit 10 degrees! Today saying + 8 feels like 4 but I think it will go to 10 degrees again.
3-4 inches of snow fell overnight-grrr.

Winter returns this weekend.
Projected Snowfall: 15 to 30 cm with locally higher amounts possible.
Projected Rainfall: 20 to 40 mm possible along the south coast.
Projected winds: northeasterly 50 gusting to 80 km/h, with gusts between 80 and 100 km/h along parts the coast.
Time span: Friday evening to Saturday evening.
Remarks: A low pressure system will track south of Newfoundland on Saturday, bringing with it significant snow and rain to parts of the Island. At this time, it appears as though the entire south coast will see significant rainfall Friday night before rain changes to freezing precipitation on Saturday morning. Freezing rain may persist over some areas for several hours before eventually changing to snow Saturday afternoon.
Elsewhere, precipitation will remain mostly as snow, or a mixture of snow and ice pellets. Significant blowing snow is possible.
However, due to some remaining uncertainty, precipitation amounts may need to be adjusted, as the above mentioned scenario may shift to the north or south.
Conditions will improve on Saturday afternoon or Saturday night
Nice sunny day. Hope it doesnt rain anymore. Supposed to be about +20c here today. My mom always used to say that if there is tunder at the beginning of spring, it wakes up the ground and things start growing. So i guess things should start growing with a vengence because of all the thunder during the night!
Happy Friday to all you wonderful people out there!! We are currently under a Winter Storm Watch. They were calling for 15-30cm of snow but it's been downgraded to 5-15cm. The temps will fluctuate from +7 feels like 3this afternoon to -4 feels like -14 overnight and lots of wind. Getting ready to plant some seeds today, tomatoes & zinnias are on the short list, the last frost here is towards the middle of June
@KelJo stay safe....even a downgrade for the amount of snow seems like too much for me.
