A prolonged period of significant snowfall is expected.
Total snowfall: 15 to 30 cm. Locally higher amounts possible.
Locations: western, central and northeastern Newfoundland.
Time span: Thursday overnight through Saturday overnight.
Remarks: Showers are expected to transition to snow Thursday night from west to east. A prolonged period of snow, at times heavy, is forecast to last into Saturday night with the highest snowfall amounts expected in central and northeastern Newfoundland. The snow may change to ice pellets or freezing rain over some areas on Saturday. Conditions will improve on Sunday.

Its been very Spring-like here the past couple of days and will continue through the weekend, unfortunately! +3-4 in the afternoon lots of sunshine (NL March weather!) Luckily the bit of snow we have is holding for now...supposed to turn "cold" again starting Monday

Currently intermittent snow and -3 degres,great day for chilling :)
well, yesterday we got hit with another storm, 15c of snow, blowing snow, etc. Was very very bad here. Hubby was out this morning shoveling but its a nice sunny cold day today!
Cloudy with a peekaboo sun. Looks like the lovely rain is coming back :frown:. Oh the wonderful Wetcoast :rain1:
