I apologize if this has been asked previously (I have searched but came up empty unfortunately) but I was wondering if those with the SDM Optimum Mastercard might be able to answer a question for me. On 20x the points days, how does the system work?
For example, if I spend $100 and charge it to my Shoppers Optimum Mastercard I will receive 2500 regular points BUT on 20x points days, would I receive 20x the points based on 2500 points = 50,000 points or would it be calculated as $100 x 10 regular = 1000 x 20 = 2,000 + 1500 (15 points per dollar x $100) = 3,500.00 points???
I can't imagine that this is really how its done because it seems too good to be true..lol..but I thought I'd ask anyhow to be sure
Thank you in advanceThis thread is currently associated with: Pharmaprix, Shoppers Drug Mart

mydusty is right...except with the MC you get points on the whole purchase...so if its' $100 plus tax (making it $113) you'll get 15 points per dollar on $113...the MC never gives you the bonus points, that's only instore

Thank you both so much, I thought it might've been wishful thinking on my part to get 20x the points at 25 points per $1...LOL...but I figured there was no harm in asking
