i was seriously dreading & dreading having to go out to buy some formula for Ryan as our stock has depleted.. so i've been collecting similac coupons/cheques with trades/trains to help with the super duper expensive cost of them!
well, yesterday was Ryan's 9 month doctor appointment for just a check up for weight & height & i just casually asked my doctor if she had another sample of formula to spare & she gave us this:
i think this just might hold us over until he can have cow's milk!! so if anyone needs similac chqs/coupons, PM me!! will trade generously!!
PLUS, baby Ryan has his first tooth finally coming in!!! no wonder he's been so cranky in the middle of the nite!!

WOW! My doctor never has any samples!!! I did the same as you and saved formula cheques and coupons and finally had enough to pay $2 or less a can. That worked for the last 3 months before her first birthday and before that I breastfed for 9 months. I would have been thrilled with even one can free from the doctor! Lucky you!

That is incredible!!! You never know until you ask. When my little guy was sick my doctor told me to pick up childrens motrin (even though he was 12 months old). I asked her if she had any and she gave me 10 bottles!

WOW! He is darling! My daughter just turned 2 years!! Crazy! She still uses a "nutrional supplement" that we get at WM. Haven't saved any money on formula over the years, oops... oh well.
Next baby--if I have one.
