ok so just b4 christmas i bought a car, only thing is it only have a cassette deck... well i decided that instead of putting in a cd player, burning/buying cds, that i would just get one of those ipod fm transmitter thingys

went to ld, they only had one brand, for $98! so started to look around at other stores, i don't tend to go into walmart very often, but went there and there was one "priced" at $45 and it was a brand i have used in the past and had no complaints with... so i go find a dude to get it off of the peg (it was locked on) and go up to the self checkouts (i tend to be grumpy after spending time in walmart and felt it best to not inflict myself on the cashiers) well the darn thing scans in at $69

so i bring it up to the person who is watching the self check outs (guy younger than i am (i am 22) and explain that this item is scanning in as wrong... that the tag on the locked peg said is should be $40 something, so he calls the department and they try and find where i got it from, with no luck, so i go back all the way thru the entire store (super center so pretty big) and so the guy, and get the other person who unlocked it for me to verify that it was taken off of that one, so the tech guy brings me to customer service and waited with me to make sure i got the discounted price, then as the cs lady is ringing it thru i remember about scop, but was unsure it applied to this specific case (whoever put it back put it on the wrong peg) so the cs calls her manager and asks about it and i walk away paying $44 for something that should have cost probably well over $80...
