How do I change my thread title?

Maybe I'm being dense here, but I can't see how to do that!

Edit the message? Sure, I can do that! But not the title!

when you click "edit" there should be a option for advanced settings or Go advanced..something of the sort. It takes you to a new page where you can edit the Thread Title.

I'm having the same issue. Can anyone help me? It also says it's a "wiki" page. What's up with that?

I needed to edit my thread title and finally learned how to do it because of your post.

You can only edit your title for a certain period of time. After that you have to get a mod to edit it.

Reason being.... everyone was changing their titles to "please delete" months later which makes the search function not work.
