    I was at Best Buy tonight looking at purchasing a GPS with my hubby. We were just planning on looking tonight and not buying. The one that we were interested in originally was $179.00. There was a lady customer there who was also buying one for her in-laws. She told us that the next model up was the one that she had and she loved it. It was priced at $249.00. While I was speaking to this lady and she was telling me about the GPS and why she liked it another man was purchasing the model above this one priced at $329.00. After his sale was finished he came back over to us and handed me a piece of paper. This paper was an advert from Tigerdirect.ca showing the same $329.00 model on sale for $249.00. He just priced match and Best Buy beat it by 10%. So he got the $329.00 model for $242.97.

    So did I........It was a very nice thing for this man to give me the competitors advert. The sales guy just laughed and rang it through. We both got a chuckle saying that it pays to be in the right place and the right time and to know your prices.

    I learned that it does pay to know your store policies and shop prepared. Many thanks to this random gentleman who made me very happy tonight.
