Walmart Super SCOP: Take 2

Glade Sense and Spray Reg. $6.00 x2 = $12.00 - FPC x 2 = FREE
Glade Scented Oil Tins Shelf Tag: $1.94, scanned at $3.87 - SCOP = FREE
$1.94 - $2.00 coupon = FREE + $0.06
Boys Long-sleeve t-shirt Display price: $3.00, scanned at $6.00 - SCOP = FREE
Boys Short-sleeve t-shirt Tag said $4.00 on special for $3.00
Total before specials, coupons, and SCOP = $29.74
Total OOP = $3.09 (they didn’t charge tax on the FPCs, they price-overrided them to $0.00)
This is the third week in a row that I've SCOPed on the Scented Oil Tins (new designs too!!) LOL! The CSM gave me a dirty look when the cashier called her over, she said, "She did this last week too!" in a really snotty voice...I just said that its not my fault Walmart can't get their s**t together!
And I gave her a very nice "Have a nice day!" on my way out too!
Liquidation World Mini Brag

Calgon Body Mist sample packs $1.97 x 4 = $7.88
Nestle Baby Cereal $1.99 x 2 = $3.98 (that’s the price of ONE box here)
Total OOP = $12.45
The body mists are going to the nieces for Christmas
...super good deal on those! And the baby cereal is an awesome deal, with Jan. 2010 expiry dates...I would have bought more, but I just stocked up on Heinz cereal at No Frills!

Great deals! and the tins are really cute! I don't think I've seen them before. I might have to make a trip to WM!
I can't believe that comment! The hostility behind it is soo uncalled for. If they don't want people SCOP (and it's not like a lot of people honestly know about it .. that they are loosing millions of dollars a day), and even if they were that's all the more incentive to price their stuff proper.

Great Deals! I have a Wal-Mart in the mall across the street (great placement!) ... and often use both sets of tellers to buy similar deals and try and avoid those comments ... doesn't always work, but it is always nice to be recognized for saving money ... LOL!
... I'm earning $5-25 Amazon.ca gift cards EVERY month, are you?
P.S. ... starting to hunt for ShoppingChannel GC's with no minimum purchase ...

I have a question about SCOP. at Walmart. Doi you pay the price at the till and than go to CS, or do you get it adjusted at the till? What if there is a line? Never done it before but you are right about how often there prices are misstated. Thanks for your help.. Sandra

LOL!!! Love your reply back to those evil WM peeps. No kidding - fix your prices, or STHU, I say!
As if they couldn't pull a greeter (aka the Geriatric Police! TY to whichever SC'er coined THAT particular bon mot!!) or six from the doors & set them loose with scanners in the aisles. Yeesh.
Speaking of fixing prices: I SCOP'd the Dove GoFresh pack @ SDM this weekend - went back the very next morning when they opened ... they had 1 person running the till, and THREE people going through the store with price scanners! I'm guessing I wasn't the only person who took advantage of THAT particular booboo. :O
~ evil girl that I am, I'm hitting WM on the way home today for the Rice Krispies treats - I have some of the $2 coupons ... haha - buying ONLY that @ WM, then I'm taking the WM flyer to LD for some PM'ing & stacking. HAHA - can't wait to see the WM cashier's face when I buy ONLY free stuff. Maybe I should spend a little time hunting up a good SCOP to make their day, too. :DLast edited by Kaldirris; Wed, Aug 19th, 2009 at 07:37 PM. Reason: what, me? Evil? Hell, yeah!

The hostility that emanated from that particular CSM was incredible! One of my DHs friends is a CSM there...but he always seems to take his break when he sees me coming...Lol!! Unfortuantely there is just the one WM in a 200km radius...so I don't have many options. I make it my goal to get as many SCOPs as I can in a trip! And I love doing the free stuff shopping trips!

Great SCOP! I agree that if they don't change the price then you get your SCOP! There is no need to be rude...we need a line...something all SC'ers can use for these remarks...."Walmart specifically hires Greeters to welcome customers with a warm hello and smile, are other employees exempt from this kindness?"

Hahaah! That should be put on an official SC's WM shopping t-shirt!
I don't know if the same goes for WM (I doubt it since a lot of their greeters tend to be older) but I use to be a greeter for RCSS (only for 3 months. Worst. Job. Ever!) and in my training I was told I was there to welcome customers with a smile and look intimidating to deter shoplifters. I was never sure how to be welcoming and intimidating at the same time
