as long as you don't click the 'post quick reply' button, you haven't actually posted anything

No, because people would post nasty comments then delete them and threads would make no sense without posts etc
You could always edit to ... if you need to before getting a mod to expire

I went to subscribe to a thread and hit the expiry thread button in error (the page hadn't loaded 100% and shifted to the right at the last moment).
It's great that it takes 3 different users (I believe) to actually expire a thread, but it would also be great if there was a pop-up "Are you sure you want to expire this thread" message for accidental expiries such as my own.

the search feature is driving me insane. For example I search "London Drugs". Not a single post pertaining to london drugs comes up!

One thing is people need to learn to tag their threads properly. Once someone posts a flyer for instance. They need to go back and at the bottom of their thread there is a line that says please tag this thread with relevant stores...and there is a drop down menu next to it with pretty much every store you could imagine. If you're looking for london drugs for instance you would then click on the little box at the top of the forum that says enter a store or brand and type in london drugs. That will bring up a list of all posts that have been tagged with london drugs, but again when people post they have to remember to actually tag their posts.

It drives me BONKERS (not insane cause that would be redundant
)
I was trying to find a chapters deal, so I used the search function and came up with like 800 trade posts. I'm sorry, but the tagging should not be used in the trade section. It makes it IMPOSSIBLE to find threads on the actual store!
Wait...were you talking about regular search or the store search feature?

When I want a deal, I go to the deal section first and just search that section. That way I don't search the entire board....because it's not even just the tags that will pop up. If someone has even posted the word "Chapters" in their post anywhere, those threads will pop up in your search too and that is why you feel like you're looking for a needle in a haystack. So try searching just in deals or just in freebies, or just in coupons, etc.. to narrow your search.

A question for the moderators: is it better to report the spam threads, or to just let them die on their own? Is it a pita for you to have to expire/delete them?
damn spammers
