First let me say thank you for this site. I have learned all sorts of ways to save money and found awesome baby samples. Since I've started though I have been shy of posting because I am super confused. For instance, what is a sticky? I can't seem to get things straight. I have read the info in the forum for newbies and still feel overwhelmed- can anyone out there help?

a sticky is a thread that has been pinned so that everyone sees it easily. It is at the top of each subforum.

My problem is which coupons are tradeable, or which ones to ask for trade. What i mostly need are food coupons.

Not much we can do to help with that one. That's something you have to search out negotiate yourself with other traders in the trade and discussion forum.

This is a fabulous site, I have learned so much and have really been able to reduce my spending using the coupons and learning so much more on the SDM points.
We really didn't bother with them much before ( silly us ) but now we watch and buy the items on sale, using coupons and buying a little bit more in bulk to save for the month...Thank you all soooo much

Also Boo, do you know how to make a favicon? Is it possible to change the favicon from the current vbulletin one to something else, like a maple leaf? that would be really cool!

Not knowing what a favicon is, what IS our current one?

I believe a favicon is the image that shows up in your favourites list when you add a website as a bookmark. For example, amazon has an amazon symbol beside it in my favourites menu, but smartcanucks doesn't have a symbol it is just a blue dot.

Aw thats why I've never noticed, my system mechanic removes that little stuff.
